Anti-Depressant Drug Slogan: “The Change You Deserve”

Posted by Ted Hopton on September 28, 2008

Change You Deserve

Change You Deserve

Just caught this on the Funny or Die website (the witty pranksters who got Paris Hilton to film the spoof response to McCain’s celebrity ad): the Republican party’s 2008 campaign slogan — “The Change You Deserve” — not only rips off Obama’s, but it’s actually a registered trademark slogan for the anti-depressant drug, Effexor.

If that weren’t funny enough, the Funny or Die team has produced another wonderful spoof ad, this time using the stolen slogan to promote a drug called, “The Republican Party.”
