Enough already. We’ve heard it all before — again and again. And this is just the primary election!
I live in Pennsylvania, and it has been an awfully long six weeks that the candidates have been pounding the airwaves (and each other) all across this state. I was excited about the drama of this election months ago, truly caught up in the historic nature of it and the chance for change.
Now? It feels like any other election in so many ways. Sniping, cheap shots, jumping on verbal mistakes and reading dire meaning into them, disingenuous protests along the lines of “I come not to bury Ceasar, but to praise him,” followed by the knife in the back — lots of distractions and mis-direction, along with Read the rest of this entry »
