Too Tired to Post

I’m headed to bed. I have so much I want to write about here, but I lack the energy after a very long day and another one ahead.

I want to tell you all about the great call center “insight” tour I went on to a Royal Carribean call center. I want to describe the enthusiastic feedback from participants in the unique team-building-through-baking workshop led by King Arthur Flour. I Hate When Navy = Black

Today was the second day of the ICMI Miami Call Center Demo & Conference — the first full day, actually, following what we call the pre-conference day. I knew I would be addressing many people, and then would spend the day running around from session to session.

I try to look sharp and professional, of course, at our conferences. I know I am not very good at matching colors or putting together well-coordinated outfits, so I rely on female advice in advance to assist me. To tell the truth, I’ll wear the same combinations again and again simply because I have learned from my daughter or women friends that they look good.

So I knew something was wrong this morning when I pulled on my trousers and they were quite loose in the waist. Frankly, that’s not been the problem with my waistline lately! Why this pair of pants was suddenly quite roomy was a mystery . . . Read the rest of this entry »
